DRE Racetrack Academy at Sepang International Circuit

To experience DRE Racetrack Academy like never before

The DRE know-how for those who want to experience the thrill of the track.

In a spectacular three-day event, on from 29th – 31st May 2023, grab the opportunity to master racetrack techniques with focused theoretical and practical riding sessions from world class Ducati instructors.

Four courses, divided into different levels of skill and performance, coordinated by Ducati instructors like Dario Marchetti -Technical Director and Global DRE manager, Karel Abraham – Ex MotoGP Ducati Rider, Carlos Serrano – DRE instructor along with a exclusive sessions with WSBK Legend – Chaz Davies.

From the Track Intro to induct beginners, to Track Warm Up, Track EVO and Track Master, all the courses are designed to improve riding technique and speed on the racetrack.

All courses are held on Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia, riding the most beautiful and high performance motorcycles from the Panigale family.

Registration :
7:30 am

Rider briefing and DRE theory
8-9 am

DRE track training
9am onwards

Equipment required

The technical clothing required for the course consists of a Helmet, a one-piece leather suit or two-piece zip together from hip to hip, back protector, riding gloves and boots. ( Two-piece zip together from hip to hip only for Intro sessions ).

Emilio Zamora is the official rider of the Ducati Stunt Team who joined Ducati in 2005 and has delighted thousands of spectators over the world with his phenomenal stunts highlighting his participation on world renowned events like Cairo Bike Show, The Bahrain DRT, World Ducati Week and numerous more with Ducati motorcycles.

Carlos Serrano

Carlos Serrano is a DRE Riding Experience instructor at Ducati Motor Thailand that trains the riders to hone their skills and achieve better control while riding on the racetrack. Carlos joined Ducati in 2010 and before working as the Technical and product Training, After Sales Manager at Ducati Asia Pacific, he delivered his expertise as a Panigale Engine line supervisor and, Research and Development Ducati motorcycle tester.

Karel Abraham

Karel Abraham is a Czech motorcycle racer and has competed in Grand Prix motorcycle racing from 2005 to 2019, Superbike World Championship and in 2010 won the Moto2 Valencia Grand Prix. He has competed in various classes and teamed up with Ducati for MotoGP in 2011.

Alex De Angelis

Alex de Angelis is a retired Sammarinese motorcycle racer that made his debut in the World Championship in 1999 and was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ in 2000. With several podium wins, he competed in the MotoGP class in 2008 and with his success in the MotoE world, he joined Ducati as the official Ducati MotoE tester/developer.

Dario Marchetti is a former Pro Italian rider and Technical Director and global DRE instructor manager with decades of racing experience and specializes in providing world-class training to the riders on the racetrack. He is very experienced rider and has won the first of the Motorcycle Races of the Champions onboard Ducati 1098 S.
