Ducati and MAN consolidate their collaboration with the official presentation of the MAN TGX Ducati Edition, a vehicle that brings to the road the passion and DNA that unite the two Volkswagen Group brands.

United by a vision oriented towards technological development, the pursuit of performance and attention to safety, Ducati and MAN are today taking a further step forward in their journey together. After the agreement that began with the supply of the four vehicles that accompany the Ducati Lenovo Team in the European rounds of the MotoGP World Championship, the partnership has evolved into a licensing agreement that sees the creation of an exclusive range of trucks enriched by a customization package endorsed by Ducati.

The official presentation of the MAN TGX Ducati Edition took place on Thursday 15 May in Borgo Panigale (BO), at Ducati headquarters, in the presence of the press and representatives of both companies, including Claudio Domenicali, CEO Ducati and Marc Martinez, Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Italia.

This is a project that further strengthens the bond between two Volkswagen Group brands, both symbols of excellence in their respective fields, and brings to the road the values we share, such as cutting-edge technology, performance and attention to design.”

The Ducati Edition is based on the MAN TGX, one of the flagship lines of the Lion Brand characterized by a high-performance driveline, a cabin designed to ensure maximum driver well-being and a series of features and driving assistance systems among the most complete on the market.

Its livery was developed in collaboration with the Centro Stile Ducati and is inspired by the graphics of the Desmosedici GP of Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez of the Ducati Lenovo Team. Made with a special three-dimensional film, it combines red and black with chrome and material surfaces that recall the racing identity of the Borgo Panigale company.

A true combination of technology, style and safety. After the initial launch in a limited series of 30 numbered and certified examples, the MAN TGX Ducati Edition will become a predefined packet that can be ordered from the price list, accompanied by a special Ducati box set designed to offer the owner a unique experience in the name of passion for the bikes of Borgo Panigale. The box set includes a selection of exclusive experiences, including a visit to the Ducati factory and museum, and an opportunity to attend the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix on 13 September at the Misano circuit.
