Ducati introduces Ducati Factory Made (DFM), the new programme that brings motorcycle customisation directly to the Borgo Panigale production line for the first time.

The programme debuts in Europe with the Multistrada V4 and allows enthusiasts to configure their dream bike with almost tailor-made detail at the time of ordering, with options installed directly on the production line.

With Ducati Factory Made, the motorcycle is delivered as desired by the customer, without the need for further after-sales interventions or modifications. In-line assembly ensures uniformity of assembly and high quality standards consistent with Ducati processes.

Among the main innovations introduced by Ducati Factory Made are colours and liveries that allow customers to express their style through unique and distinctive colour combinations. The range spans from Icone colours, symbolising Ducati tradition, to the glossy colours of the Style series, which enhance elegance and modernity, to the matt colours of the Sophistication collection, designed for those seeking an exclusive and distinctive touch. Those who want to emphasise the sporting soul of their bike can choose the Performance Liveries or the exclusive Ducati Corse Liveries, inspired by the legend of the racetrack.

The Ducati Factory Made programme also marks a new chapter in the collaboration between the Borgo Panigale manufacturer and Automobili Lamborghini, which has already resulted in the special versions of the Diavel 1260, Streetfighter V4 and Panigale V4. Among the colour customisations available, the programme includes some of Automobili Lamborghini’s iconic and exclusive Ad Personam options: Viola Pasifae, Arancio Xanto, Giallo Belenus, Blu Uranus and Verde Scandal. 

On a technical level, the Ducati Factory Made programme offers a wide range of components such as cast wheels in multiple colours, forged light alloy or spoked wheels, and colour options for the rear frame and brake calipers. The Ducati Factory Made programme also includes height configuration options for the rider and passenger seats and suspension, offering an almost handcrafted level of customisation for the motorcycle of your dreams, straight from the factory.

The programme naturally offers the possibility to choose combinations of options from the well-known Touring, Adventure, Sport, Tech and Enduro packages to combine style, comfort and performance according to your preferences.

The Ducati Factory Made programme also offers the possibility to customise the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and RS models, which come with dedicated equipment and liveries. In this case, the configurator allows enthusiasts to choose ergonomic options such as different seat heights, the colour of the brake calipers when not included in the livery, or technical details such as additional spotlights and extra carbon parts.
