Ducati expands its distribution network opening the doors of a new dealership located in Rotterdam, the second largest city by population in the Netherlands and home to Europe’s largest port.
The new space dedicated to the “Red bikes of Borgo Panigale” is located within the walls of Moto Rotterdam, a motorcycle dealer that has recently moved under new ownership, completely renovated and modernized. The dealer is located in the northwest part of the city at Strickledeweg 112 and is easily accessible from the highway.
The Ducati area houses both the showroom and the workshop. Inside the store, the entire Ducati and Scrambler Ducati range is on display, along with their respective apparel and accessory collections. In the workshop, a large and modern Ducati Service area has been created, where a team of technicians will be available for service and repairs.
Also in the scenario offered by the new dealer is the possibility to purchase Ducati Approved certified motorcycles, i.e., used Ducati motorcycles with less than 6 years since first registration, a mileage of less than 50,000 km, and that have passed a checklist of 35 thorough and accurate inspections to ensure their perfect condition.
The inaugural ceremony of the new dealer was held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 in the presence of Francesco Milicia, VP Global Sales & After Sales Ducati along with Maxime Loiseau, Managing Director Ducati West Europe, and Tim Boonsma, Director Moto Rotterdam.
Francesco Milicia, VP Global Sales & After Sales Ducati: “Introducing a new dealer in a location like Rotterdam is a great added value for Ducati; it is a state-of-the-art city that responds to a growing motorcycle market. In addition, the Netherlands are a very important landscape for the brand, also from the point of view of the very active community of enthusiasts present in this territory. In fact, one of the largest DOC in the world, the Ducati Club Nederland, which has thousands of members, is based in this country. The new dealership in Rotterdam contributes to the consolidation of the process of international expansion of Ducati’s sales network, which in 2022 saw many important openings among which this one is no exception. “
The fans present at the event had the chance to admire live the Desmosedici GP22, the bike with which Francesco Bagnaia became MotoGP World Champion this year, displayed for the occasion.
Also capturing the scene were two models from Ducati’s 2023 range, the DesertX with the new “RR22” livery, featuring a graphic design reminiscent of the Audi RS Q e-tron, the prototype that made its debut in the Dakar 2022, and the Multistrada V4 Rally, the bike dedicated to great travelers and designed for the most inaccessible destinations. Both models were presented for the first time in the Netherlands during the opening day.
Ducati Rotterdam joins the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer’s global sales network, which now has 800 points of sale in more than 90 countries.
