Ducati, born and raised in the Borgo Panigale district of Bologna and strongly rooted in the entire regional territory of the famous Motor Valley of Emilia-Romagna, wanted to take action for its Region.

The Company has decided to join the “Un aiuto per l’Emilia-Romagna” campaign by making a donation of 200,000 euros to the Protezione Civile of the Region, which will use the funds received to support the people and communities affected by the flooding.

Like a big family, Ducati also supports all its employees who, having suffered damage or inconvenience, need time to resolve the emergency, recognizing the hours of absence as working hours in all respects, and therefore paid.

In addition, the Trade Union Representatives and the employees have taken action to donate an hour of their salary: the proceeds will be doubled by the Company, again to support the people and communities affected in the Region.

For us, this is home, and we felt the need to find a way to help, by supporting with a 200,000 euros donation the regional Protezione Civile which is currently coordinating, together with the relevant authorities, the operations in the many towns and cities affected. The Trade Union representatives, together with the employees, are also organizing to donate an hour of salary in solidarity. A gesture that says so much about that spirit of humanity and collaboration that identifies the inhabitants of this extraordinary territory that is Emilia-Romagna.”
