Great success for Ducati at EICMA 2024, with many enthusiasts crowding the stand throughout the four days of public opening. Ducatisti were able to admire the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2, protagonists of the sixth episode of the Ducati World Première 2025, as well as the brand new Panigale V4 and Multistrada V4, exhibited for the first time at an international show.
Enthusiasts were able to admire the Hypermotard family, from the 950 RVE up to the very popular Hypermotard 698 Mono and Mono RVE. Also admired by visitors were the accessorised versions of the Panigale V4, Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2, while Multistradisti also got a close-up look at the new V4 Pikes Peak and the very sporty V4 RS. The DesertX Discovery was also a great success, with the DesertX Rally on display alongside it. The stand would have not been the same without the three new Ducati Scrambler models – the Icon Black, Full Throttle and above all the 10th Anniversary Rizoma Edition, celebrating the important anniversary for the ‘Land of Joy’.
The intense presence of visitors on the stand confirmed Ducati as a reference point in motorcycling and Made in Italy. A role conquered thanks to the constant commitment to development and innovation on its production motorbikes and to victories in world and national championships, which takes on further prominence in light of the strong growth of EICMA. In fact, the 2024 edition of the Milanese event, which celebrated its 110th anniversary, recorded over 600,000 visitors with an increase of over 40,000 in attendance compared to the already excellent 2023 edition, confirming a constant revival of interest in two-wheel vehicles on the part of an increasingly broad public.
Also on show, of course, were the DesmosediciGP with which Pecco Bagnaia is preparing to tackle the final MotoGP race in Barcelona, and the Panigale V4 R vice world champion with Nicolò Bulega. At their side also the V21L electric prototype, dressed in the special livery inspired by Ducati’s sporting history. And of course, the Desmo450 MX Italian champion with Alessandro Lupino, who will give life to the first production motocross Ducati that will arrive in dealerships next spring.
The Ducati motorbikes, and the many guests and friends who came to the event, enlivened the stand, with the presence of the two official Ducati Aruba.it team riders Nicolò Bulega, Alvaro Bautista and Adrian Huertas, Italian champion Alessandro Lupino accompanied by nine-time world champion Tony Cairoli, Pertamina Enduro-VR46 team rider Marco Bezzecchi and Kevin Vandi, rider in the Italian Supermotard Championship and one of the protagonists of the launch video of the Hypermotard 698 Mono. Also present to meet the fans was the official test rider of the DesmosediciGP and ten-time Italian SBK champion Michele Pirro, who announced from the stage the birth of the V4 Elite Cup, a competitive format dedicated to Ducati amateur riders riding Panigale V4 bikes.
In the outdoor MotoLive area, the Ducati DesertX Rally was the protagonist in the two days reserved for the twin-cylinder bikes of the Champions Charity Race, led by Antoine Meo, multiple Enduro World Champion and European Supercross Champion, and by Danilo Petrucci, the only rider in history capable of winning a MotoGP race, a Superbike World Championship race and a stage of the Dakar.
On Friday, the DesertX Rally and Antoine Meo extended their palmarès. The Frenchman won the round of sixteen, the quarter-finals and the semi-finals, and also won the final by just two thousandths, demonstrating the competitiveness of the event.
The Ducati World Premiere will continue with more novelties until 2025. All the motorbikes in the range can be viewed on Ducati.com, where, thanks to the new configurator, enthusiasts can create the bike of their dreams by enhancing it with Ducati Performance accessories, and view it in different settings. On the site it is also possible to book a test ride, or request information from a dealer, for all the models in the range.
Ducati now awaits enthusiasts at Campioni in Festa, the event with which it will celebrate the ‘Fantastic Four’, i.e. the riders – Pecco Bagnaia, Jorge Martin, Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez – who won the first four places in the 2024 MotoGP World Championship onboard Ducati Desmosedici bikes. The appointment is set for the evening of 3 December, at the Bologna Exhibition Centre.
