In the late afternoon of 9 July, Ducati proudly hosted the delegation of G7 Ministers, currently in Bologna for the ministerial meeting dedicated to Science and Technology.
The group, made up of the Ministers/Heads of Delegation followed by their respective delegations, visited the Borgo Panigale plant welcomed by the Board of Management of Ducati and accompanied along the way by the CEO Claudio Domenicali and the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini.
The visit began from the heart of the company, the Ducati Museum, custodian of the almost centenary history of the brand. Afterwards, for this special visit the Bologna-based company also opened the doors of its Centro Stile, the place where Ducati motorcycles come to life, transforming from an idea into true works of art. The tour then ended inside the “Finitura e Delibera Estetica” building; inaugurated at the end of 2022, the last phase of the production cycle takes place in this space, which consists of the final covering of the motorcycle, created by Ducati with a tailor-made approach.
Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO, declared: “Receiving the G7 delegation for Science and Technology as the only company in the entire Region is a great honour and makes us truly proud. This visit repays Ducati’s commitment to promoting technological excellence and Italian identity through its research and development work and its motorcycles. It is also a significant recognition for the Company and for the entire Motor Valley, demonstrating the value brought to the field of technology and science.”
The visit of the ministers who will participate in the Ministerial Science and Technology Meeting was an opportunity for Ducati management to talk about, in addition to the almost centenary history of the brand, the Company’s development programs, which include investment projects in new products and the infrastructure of Borgo Panigale.
