Enriching the lives of enthusiasts through unique and unforgettable experiences is Ducati’s mission. Through its experiential program, the Borgo Panigale company offers motorcyclists from all over the world the opportunity to experience dream days riding the models of the range in the most prestigious locations, guided by a team of top-class instructors that includes MotoGP and Superbike protagonists among its members.
The DRE programme has welcomed over 32,000 participants since 2003, combining emotion, fun and safety and constantly updating its content to meet the needs of every type of motorcyclist.
The bikes presented in the Ducati World Première 2025 (link to watch the episodes here) will be the protagonists of the new season of the DRE Academy. Participants will have the opportunity not only to learn and perfect their riding skills, but also to try out the new models of the Ducati range, such as the new Panigale V4 and V2, Multistrada V4 and V2 and Streetfighter V4 and V2.
For each course, in fact, Ducati will provide each participant motorcycles from its fleet. It will also be possible to rent the necessary technical apparel and purchase photo-video service.
All the information and details for registering for the 2025 season events are available in the dedicated section of the Ducati.com website.
For those looking for the thrill of the track, the DRE Racetrack and the DRE Track Warm Up are scheduled. There are two events with the DRE Racetrack (which include the “One to One” programs): on June 4-5 at the Marco Simoncelli World Circuit in Misano and on July 8-9 at the Mugello circuit. The DRE Track Warm Up is scheduled for the weekend of June 14-15 at the Modena racetrack.
DRE Adventure is instead the experience designed for Adventouring enthusiasts and has four events scheduled for 2025: the first two in the month of May (May 20-21 and 22-23) and two more in the month of October (September 30 – October 1 and October 2-3).
The DRE Academy course catalogue
DRE Track Warm Up is aimed at motorcyclists who want to learn the basics of riding between the kerbs of a circuit. The format begins with a theoretical briefing held by Technical Director Dario Marchetti, focused on the correct riding position, braking, acceleration and riding technique, followed by a series of practical exercises that participants will carry out in the paddock. The subsequent track training is divided into five sessions, the first of which is a recce lap to become familiar with the track by riding one of the models in the Ducati range, with the exception of the Panigale. The following four sessions are instead carried out with the new Panigale V2, the ideal Ducati for a track debut. A specialized instructor will provide advice before each session, which will be followed by a dedicated debrief at the end of each of them.
DRE Racetrack remains the benchmark for those who already have experience in track riding, but want to refine their skills and experience the thrill of riding a Ducati on MotoGP circuits.
Education, fun and adrenaline come together in different courses depending on the level of experience: Track Evo, Track Evo2 and Track Master. The new Ducati Panigale family is the star of this program, with the Panigale V2 for the Track Evo courses and the Panigale V4 S for the Track Master.
The Track Master, in particular, also proposes its winning formula for the 2025 season, which relies on expert riders as instructors, on the use of Action Cams and DDL (Ducati Data Logger) data acquisition and above all on a ratio of two students for each instructor, in order to offer participants even more complete and dedicated support.
The DRE Racetrack stages also include “One to One” courses, aimed at those looking for an exclusive experience from every point of view. A direct relationship with the instructor, an individual position in the box, Open Pit access and a debrief after each session guarantee a truly professional experience for riders of all levels in a day to be lived completely in the name of passion for the track.
The “One to One” courses include three proposals: the one dedicated to the new Panigale V4 S, the seventh-generation Ducati superbike that has set new performance and technological benchmarks, the course dedicated to the Panigale R, the most powerful supersport road bike in the world (240.5 hp at 15,500 rpm, with a limiter in sixth gear at 16,500) and finally the one dedicated to the Superleggera V4, the bike that embodies the engineering excellence of the Borgo Panigale company.
By taking part in one of these three experiences, participants will also be able to enjoy an educational session as passengers of a qualified DRE instructor, who will carry out laps on the track in order to indicate the correct trajectories to take, the braking and acceleration points and the different riding techniques. The team of instructors can boast, among others, professional riders such as Michele Pirro, Karel Abraham, Lorenzo Zanetti and Franco Battaini, coordinated by the Technical Director Dario Marchetti.
DRE Adventure is the experience designed for Adventouring enthusiasts who want to perfect the secrets of on and off-road riding, experimenting with the qualities of Ducati models in fascinating Italian settings. The format is characterized by a wide-ranging program that includes moments of riding instruction alongside a suggestive tour immersed in greenery where it is possible to appreciate the dynamic characteristics of Ducati motorcycles on different terrains.
The course takes place on the Multistrada V4 Rally, DesertX and DesertX Rally, the motorcycles of the Ducati range dedicated to travel, with the new Multistrada V4 S MY 2025, which thanks to its many technological and electronic innovations raises the level of riding pleasure.
Thanks to a pool of top-level instructors, led by Matteo Graziani (professional rider, winner of 59 Italian Motorally championships and protagonist of around 30 international rallies), the course provides motorcyclists with an opportunity to discover the secrets of the world of Adventouring: from the correct position on the bike to learning the most effective off-road riding techniques. Thanks to the wide customization possibilities for the seat and suspension, with different raised and lowered solutions, each of the bikes used in the DRE Adventure courses can adapt to the characteristics of each participant. An important new feature for 2025 is the possibility of participating in the course with your own bike, be it a Ducati or another brand, as long as it is suitable and equipped for off-road riding and meets the necessary requirements.
The DRE Adventure program is divided into two days. The first day takes place at Villa Benveduti in Gubbio, an elegant eighteenth-century estate immersed in the countryside of the town in Umbria, and is dedicated to getting to know the bike and carrying out technical exercises to gain the right confidence in off-road riding in suitably equipped training camps. The second day includes a tour with both on-road and off-road sections, which immediately puts motorcyclists in a position to put into practice what they have learned in the training camps and continue learning further riding techniques.
