Ducati is among the protagonists of the 41st edition of Auto e Moto d’Epoca, the international event dedicated to vintage two- and four-wheeled vehicles that takes place at BolognaFiere from 24 to 27 October.
The Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer will exhibit its models in Hall 31, in the spaces dedicated to the Motor Valley and its prestigious brands, putting on show a collection of eight motorcycles belonging to the legendary 916 family that this year celebrates its thirtieth anniversary.
On this occasion, Ducati is placing particular attention on the racing versions, illustrating the extraordinary history of successes that distinguished this iconic dynasty from 1994 to 2002.
Through this fascinating journey through Ducati’s sporting achievements, you can admire the four bikes that established Carl Fogarty as the most successful rider in Ducati’s history, the same ones with which he became world champion in 1994, 1995, 1998 and 1999. Alongside these, the stand will also feature Troy Corser‘s 916 from 1996 and Troy Bayliss‘s 996 R from 2001, together with the 996 versions from 2000 and 998 from 2002.
Each one of the bikes on display has contributed to establishing Ducati as a benchmark in the world of Superbikes, bringing moments of great emotion to the track that have made generations of enthusiasts dream. The Ducati 916, together with its descendants, is in fact the most successful classic superbike of all time, boasting an extraordinary list of 121 victories, 8 Manufacturers’ World Titles and 6 Riders’ World Titles in the world championship dedicated to production-derived bikes.
The exhibition would not be complete without the new Panigale V4, presented for the first time last July during World Ducati Week. This bike represents the seventh generation of Ducati super sports bikes and combines the most advanced technical solutions with an unmistakable design. Thanks to the experience gained in the racing world, the Panigale V4 is capable of offering enthusiasts the same riding sensations as professional riders, further raising the bar of the level of modern high-performance sports bikes.
To enrich the experience of visiting the fair, Poste Italiane has reserved a surprise for visitors and Ducati enthusiasts. At their exhibition space, located in Hall 22, stand A1, Poste is making special postmarks available for each day of the event, and is also presenting a fine box set dedicated to Ducati and produced in a limited edition of 500 copies.
The Ducati box set contains a stamped and postmarked lithograph depicting the Panigale V4, and three silver coins to the value of 5 euros each, belonging to the 2024 Numismatic Collection, which show a historic view of the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale on the front sides and three distinct designs on the reverse: the Ducati 60, the Ducati 916 and the Panigale V4.
Auto e Moto d’Epoca is a true meeting point for enthusiasts of the sector from every corner of the world. This event offers a unique opportunity for experts, collectors and the curious to admire up close iconic vehicles that have left an indelible mark on the history of motorsport and motorcycle racing.
