Always committed to offering enthusiasts the technologies developed together with its partners at the highest levels of racing, Ducati is proud to announce the availability of the new Ducati Genuine Oil Powered by Shell Advance. This new lubricant, developed in collaboration with Shell, is the first in history to feature a specific formulation for Ducati engines, on which it has proven, through rigorous and conclusive testing, to be able to reduce wear and maintain more consistent performance over time.

The Ducati Genuine Oil Powered by Shell Advance lubricant takes advantage of the experience gained in 25 years of collaboration between Ducati Corse and Shell in MotoGP and World Superbike, recently renewed until 2027, which has led to the victory of no less than 13 rider and 19 manufacturer titles in the two championships.

For the first time, enthusiasts who want to take the best care of their engine can turn to the official service network and use a lubricant designed specifically for the needs of new-generation Ducati engines. Ducati Genuine Oil Powered by Shell Advance offers greater protection against wear, oxidation and carbon deposits than previous formulations thanks to Shell PurePlus technology, derived from the oil used in MotoGP. Thanks also to the latter, Ducati Genuine Oil Powered by Shell Advance meets the latest API SP and JASO MA2 standard specifications, further guaranteeing its quality level.

The new Ducati Genuine Oil Powered by Shell Advance has been subjected to a series of rigorous and probing tests to verify its protective and long-lasting qualities, including well over 400 hours of ‘Ciclo Monza’, a dyno simulation set up by Ducati that subjects the engine, the gearbox and therefore the lubricant, to the same stresses imposed by the extremely fast Lombardy track.

The development of all new production engines from the Borgo Panigale factory was carried out using exclusively Ducati Genuine Oil Powered by Shell Advance 15W-50. This activity allowed Ducati and Shell to actively collaborate in analysing the results of the various tests, and thus evaluate the wear on the engine components, highlighting the benefits between the effectiveness of the lubrication and their durability. For this reason, all Ducati families – from the Panigale, Streetfighter and Multistrada to the DesertX and the new Desmo450 MX, and of course the Monster, Hypermotard and Scrambler – find the Ducati Genuine Oil Powered by Shell Advance the ideal oil.

The new Ducati Genuine Oil Powered by Shell Advance 15W-50 is available exclusively from the Ducati service network in Italy, France, Germany, Benelux, UK, Spain and soon in Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Poland.
