XDiavel V4: production of the new Ducati Sport Cruiser begins

Production of the new XDiavel V4, the Sport Cruiser according to Ducati, has begun in the Borgo Panigale plant. A unique bike, which combines the performance of the V4 engine, the cruiser riding position and the sensual beauty that characterizes every Ducati. An even more muscular, sophisticated and high-performance reinterpretation of the formula that the first XDiavel 1260 introduced to the segment.

The XDiavel V4 is designed for the enthusiast who is looking for a bike with an unmistakable style, a lover of the cruiser world – with a low and relaxed riding position – and fascinated, at the same time, by the dragster performance that has always characterised the XDiavel. A bike capable of breathtaking acceleration and deceleration with great ease and safety. The performance of the 168 horsepower V4 Granturismo, combined with the 240/45 rear tyre and a dedicated gear ratio, allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3”, with a truly impressive thrust.

Thanks to the V4 Granturismo engine, derived from MotoGP and featuring unique solutions such as a counter-rotating crankshaft, the new XDiavel surprises: with its 168 hp and 12.8 kgm of torque, it combines linearity at low revs with vigorous torque throughout the power delivery range. And with a kerb weight of 229 kg, sophisticated components such as a monocoque frame, fully adjustable suspension and braking system with Brembo Stylema® calipers on 330 mm discs, the XDiavel V4 offers unexpected agility and dynamics for a Sport Cruiser, which translate into riding pleasure and safety in every situation.

Comfort is substantially improved, thanks to the rear suspension with 25 mm more travel than the XDiavel 1260 and, above all, a wide, well-profiled and thicker saddle. The passenger can also count on a more spacious (+30% in width, +50% in length) and comfortable (+25 mm in thickness) seat, and on a rear grab handle supplied as standard.

The rider can harness the performance of the XDiavel V4 thanks to a complete and effective electronics package, with Ducati Traction Control (DTC) in Cornering version, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), ABS Cornering, Launch Control and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0. All electronic systems are easily managed via the backlit controls on the handlebars and the new 6.9” TFT colour dashboard with 8:3 aspect ratio, which also offers Bluetooth connectivity with the smartphone for calls, text messages and music, and supports the Turn-by-turn navigation system (available as an accessory) via the Ducati Link App.

The XDiavel V4 will be available in European dealers starting from May 2025, with other countries to follow, in the two metallic liveries Burning Red and Black Lava. For the first time, the XDiavel is offered in red, but a different red from the iconic Ducati Red and the brilliant Racing Red. Black Lava, on the other hand, enriches the classic glossy black typical of the cruiser world with warm tones that reflect the unique and sophisticated personality of the XDiavel V4. Two colours that make it even more unique and whose names, which recall fire, underline the emotions awakened by this bike.

The Ducati Performance catalogue is full of proposals for customizing the XDiavel V4, starting from a central repositioning kit for the rider footpegs, continuing with raised or lowered seats, and arriving at the semi-rigid 48-litre cases with body-coloured covers that include a passenger backrest and integrated side handles. The offer is completed by a homologated exhaust silencer, with cover and four titanium end caps, and a single-seater tailpiece that can be mounted in place of the passenger seat. To all this you can add components from solid, carbon parts, forged rims and brake calipers in red or black to further customize the new XDiavel V4.
